Flyboarding what is the Age Limit?2019-03-13T11:37:28-03:00

Flyboard Canada rules state that all riders must be 16+ but we can provide flights for 14+ year olds with feet size 7+ and if their parents also sign their child’s liability waiver. Please note all pilots and or parents must provide a copy of a government issued id at check in. While flyboarding is much easier than it looks, it does take leg and core strength to pop out of the water, much like water skiing, and then pilots feel weightless and are free to FLY…

Flyboarding do I have to sign a Liability Waiver?2018-06-06T14:35:32-03:00

Yes, to meet our insurance standards all flyboarding pilots must sign our liability waiver and pilots aged 14 & 15 will need their parents to sign our liability waiver as well. Our liability waiver is much like any other adventure sport in that you accept full responsibility for any damages and or injuries sustained by you or anyone else during your flight and Flyboard Maritimes Inc. is not responsible.

  • 1+ Hour Flights with an Instructor
  • Signed Liability Waiver by All Pilots
  • Ages 14+ (Parents Sign Waiver 14, 15)
  • 2 Pilots per our is best for Learning, Cost & FUN
  • We provide – Helmet, Wetsuit, Instruction and SAFETY
Flyboarding how Difficult is it?2018-06-06T15:11:09-03:00

Flyboarding is Very Easy but it looks hard. Don’t get me wrong flyboarding is a water sport, much like water skiing, so it does take some physical ability but it has a very fast learning curve of usually 5-10 minutes. Some new pilots ‘get it’ in minutes, everyone flies because if you can “Stand Up Straight” you can Fly! Our instructor, Mike Roberts, will explain everything during your pre-flight orientation and then it is up to you to perform in the water. You will be strapped into the Flyboard which is connected to the water hose that is attached to the Seadoo Mike will be operating along with the passenger or 2nd Pilot riding on the back. Our flyboard Seadoo is a 3-seater so it very comfortable for the passenger pilot to learn from Mike’s instruction while watching the 1st Pilot make beginner mistakes so that when it comes time for the 2nd pilot to take their turn, they usually Take OFF!

As you master each step, Mike will provide real-time feedback and suggestions so you can maximize your flight time while achieving your flight goals. Some people just want to get up, others want to do tricks and some want to go high! All these maneuvers are possible on your first flight but it all depends on your abilities. The more control you have while flying will determine how high Mike allows. Typically, each new pilot will fly up to 10’+ in the air and we’ve had clients in the past reach 20′ on their first flight by demonstrating their control of the Flyboard and they listened well to their instructor!

Everyone Flies. It’s that Easy. How high depends on you. Grab a friend and give it a try. Make your next party a Flyboard Party. “Come Fly with Us”

Flyboard Where?2019-03-13T11:48:21-03:00

We provide daily flyboard flights at The Charlottetown Marina, in the water just off Confederation Landing Park. The park provides an excellent vantage point for our pilot’s family and friends to gather and watch the action! Depending on the weather, which on PEI usually means the wind, we tend to fly before noon before the afternoon winds kick up.

Flyboard Parties are special “private” group events of 10+ pilots who get the chance to flyboard together at their own beach or cottage. You pick the place, date and we will bring the water jet fun!
